Satsuma imo sliced in thin, long, rectangular strips (smaller than
French Fries, like angel hair pasta, and doesn't need to be peeled), and
then fry in sake and soy sauce. Shortly after, put in renkon cut into
thin rounds and throw in. Finished when Satsuma imo is orangey yellow.
Will cook most of the sake and soy sauce off, but not all of it because it will buuurn.

Sweet Potato Bread
Nasa's Sweet Potato Bread
[edit]
Ingredients
- 2 cups sweet potatoes
- 1 1/2 cups normal potatoes
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 stick butter
[edit]
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Cube potatoes and sweet potatoes. I skinned the sweet potatoes but not the red potatoes.
- Boil both for a really long time. They should be soft enough to mash against the side of the pot with a fork.
- Run through colander and mash potatoes with butter and milk and salt. Basically, make mashed potatoes, but I leave it pretty chunky.
- Add flour until sticky and a pain to work with. It's about 2 cups of flour for every 3 cups of potatoes.
- Butter pan.
- Put dough on the pan.
- Cook for about an hour, or until not too soft in the middle.
- Let sit for a while to cool.
- Enjoy!
